"Took delivery of the Breeze V5 from Bay Sports last week, after researching for a entry level ski for a while. Was tossing up between Epic V5 and Breeze V5 - it came down to two main deciding factors as both skis have very similar specs: 1) Breeze V5 has a 5 year warranty vs Epic's 1 year warranty and 2) Pricing of Breeze was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Epic v5.
All in all, very happy with my purchase and delivery from Bay Sports. Cheers fellas."
Delivered unpacked, fitted the rudder and paddled away. Stability is unrivaled speed is good. I tested it in the harbour and there was a lot of wash from multiple boats crossing. Excellent lines and cut always allow for good catch.
Really is an excellent ski from beginner up. Looking forward to taking it to the beach to catch a few waves. Only wish it was a bit lighter,
Purchasing was great from Bay Sports - great comms and answers to questions prior to purchase. Great price too!
Ski was delivered with good info, and wrapped really well.
Great ski to paddle. Not the lightest, but for the price it's a fast ski for fun and fitness - and I'm looking it race it on inland waters. Not too tippy and fast. Easy to load/unload, great rudder system etc.
Definitely recommend this unit!
I was very happy with how it handled the gusty conditions with some reasonable swell at times this weekend on the northern beaches with it's good tracking and stability helped by it's generous 54cm width. I was also impressed with the comfort of the seat and it's positioning. The weight was also manageable for me to transport it on my Ranger and carry it to the water on my own.
