Are you dreading the thought of lugging your kayak to the waters edge or back to the car? Or have you already hurt your back attempting to carry the kayak all by yourself? Well you don't have to, as a lightweight, durable and affordable kayak trolley from Bay Kayaks is just what the doctor ordered.
Built from a lightweight, durable aluminium, our sit-in kayak and canoe trolley can take up to 100kgs of weight, supported by large rubber tyres which work a on sand, or simply going up and down stairs. If you're using on soft sand, you may wish to go for our Sit In Kayak trolley with balloon wheels.
Weight Capacity: 100kg

• Lightweight compact construction, yet very sturdy and durable • Heavy duty rust proof marine-grade anodised aluminium frame • Curved U-frame to stabilise the trolley as you load your kayak (not the leg posts which just sink in the sand) • Includes a free quick-release tie-down strap to keep your kayak and secured to your trolley • Trolley is completely collapsible, with removable wheels (not suitable for storage in hatch compartments, please choose the Mini Trolley) • Soft padded foam bumpers to protect your kayak or canoe • Supplied in a flat pack box. All parts included for quick and easy assembly • No more lugging your kayak to and from the water’s edge again!
All aspects of ordering, delivery and packaging were first class. Well done Bay Sports!
I like the widely spaced wheels and flick out support stand without which it may be difficult to perfectly align your kayak.
Trolley handled 3.5km return trip on a “fire trail” track..ultimate test, and exceeded expectations.
Securing the kayak to trolley just needs “playing around” with the supplied long strap...it works out ..
I am weak and my joints are garbage so this is great to get my sit on top kayak to the edge of the water so that I have more energy for the fun part of kayaking ie being on the water. It would be good to have a few extra options or videos to show how this could be used to help get a kayak over the back of a hatch so that you don't crush the plastic spoiler on the top of the hatch door etc. I've seen this done on one video but I'd rather not risk damaging the trim of my hatch. Specific designed attachments would be ideal. I hope the company takes up this challenge.
