At Bay Sports, everything we do is underpinned by our commitment to quality. Each range of products is covered by a separate warranty. Please see detailed information below about our Warranty Policy.

Hard Plastic Kayaks & Hard Plastic Surf Skis

Warranty Period

  • 5 Years Limited - Hull & Deck
  • 2 Years Limited - Pedal/Flap Drive Systems
  • 1 Year Limited - Component Parts & Accessories including Paddles, Rudder Systems, Seats, Stadium Seats, and all their working components or parts

Warranty Detail

Your kayak is built of superior materials and in accordance with stringent quality standards. With adequate maintenance, it will give you years of reliable use. But as with most products, it is subject to wear and tear. If you eventually need replacement parts, technical assistance or product/service information, please contact us via the Bay Sports Customer Support Portal

Bay Sports kayak warranty is valid only if the product is used for its intended purpose and for which it was designed. Product component parts and accessories are warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Warranty starts immediately after delivery. 

The hull and deck are warranted for a period of 5 years from the date of your order delivery against defects in workmanship and/or materials and suitable for its intended purpose.

If a product is found to be defective by Bay Sports, in its sole discretion, Bay Sports only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.

Bay Sports will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of product. This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any imposed by virtue of applicable law.

1. The warranty applies only to Bay Sports products purchased from authorised dealers or directly from Bay Sports and is valid for the original purchaser only. Transfers of warranty is not possible.

2. Any products that we request to be returned to Bay Sports for warranty inspection must receive prior return authorisation, which can be given over a ticket submitted via the Bay Sports Customer Support Portal. If your return is approved you will be given a return authorisation number. You cannot return a product without a return authorisation number.
Any transportation costs to an appointed place of repair or replacement transportation costs will be refunded/covered bay Bay Sports only of the item is deemed faulty. If Bay Sports or their appointed place of repair inspects the item and its not deemed faulty, that item will be returned back and the transportation costs associated for the sending and receiving of that item will be payable by the customer.  

Bay Sports is not responsible for any damages incurred in transport, for storing or transportation fees, nor for inconvenience or loss of time or money while repairs are being made. Bay Sports reserves the right to determine whether the terms of the warranty have been properly complied with.

Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:

  • Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories used for rental or other commercial use.
  • Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories that have been damaged by negligence, misuse or accident, or wear due to owner’s failure to provide reasonable and necessary. maintenance.
  • Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories succumbs to environmental factors such as mould, mildew or UV deterioration.
  • Change in appearance of Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories due to wear, exposure to weather or any other environmental condition.
  • Damage to Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories caused by exposure to abrasive surfaces.
  • Kayaks and Component Parts & Accessories which have been modified from original specifications or repaired by unauthorised persons.

3. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

4. Repaired items will be subject to available parts. We will do our best to match colours and styles but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact product back.

5. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt.

This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights under consumer laws.

Pullen Surf Skis

Warranty Period

  • 5 Years Limited- Leisure & Resort RangComposite Components (Hull, Deck and Join)
  • 3 Years Limited - Wave Ski Range Composite Components (Hull, Deck and Join)
  • 1 Year Limited  -  Ocean Racing Range Composite Components (Hull, Deck and Join)
  • 1 Year Limited  - Accessories and Design Extras (all fixed parts and accessories) to the above ranges

Warranty Detail

Pullen stand by the quality, craftsmanship and performance of their products, and above all they are committed to you as a valued customer.

All products come with a warranty on all manufacturing faults or defects. Each product range is covered by separate warranty conditions. The warranty period commences from the date the product is dispatched from the Pullen facilities and is valid for the periods as indicated.

All warranty Terms and Conditions are set by Pullen Surf Skis directly, Bay Sports has no control over any Warranty Terms & Conditions or the acceptance or decision of a claim by Pullen Surf Skis. All claims are to be made directly with Pullen Surf Ski. Further details can be found Here.

Bay Sports warrants all our Inflatable Products sold by Bay Sports to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 - 3 years, under the listed warranty period for that product, from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified on the product. Warranty starts immediately after delivery. 

If a product is found to be defective by Bay Sports, in its sole discretion, Bay Sports only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.

  • Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories that have been damaged by negligence, misuse or accident, or wear due to owner’s failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
  • Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories that have been over inflated/pressurised beyond the manufactures recommended pressure in PSI as listed on the product page.
  • Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories that succumbs to environmental factors such as mould, mildew, UV deterioration or over inflation due to long exposure to the sun.
  • Change in appearance of Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories or due to wear, exposure to the weather or any other environmental condition.
  • Damage to Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories caused by exposure to abrasive surfaces.
  • Inflatable Products or Component Parts & Accessories which have been modified or repaired by unauthorised persons.

3. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

4. Repaired items will be subject to available parts. We will do our best to match colours and styles but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact product back

Canvas Bell Tents & Awnings

Warranty Period

  • 1 Year Limited

Warranty Detail

All Bay Sports Canvas Tents & Awnings carry a 1 Year Limited Warranty which starts immediately after delivery. With adequate maintenance, it will give you years of reliable use. But as with most products, it is subject to wear and tear. If you eventually need replacement parts, technical assistance or product/service information, please contact us via the Bay Sports Customer Support Portal.

The Warranty only applies to production errors (for instance with respect to stitches and waterproofing) when using and maintaining the tent as directed in the accompanying user guide. The Warranty does not cover any wear and tear and cannot be extended to the poles or zips after the tent has been pitched for the first time. Please check the zips and poles are functioning correctly prior to your first pitch.

The Warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • If the product succumbs to environmental factors such as mould, mildew or UV deterioration.
  • If the product has been modified.
  • If the original receipt/invoice/proof of purchase cannot be presented.
  • If the product has been damaged intentionally, or as a consequence of negligence or bad maintenance.
  • If the product is being used for professional and/or long term shelter after 28 days of continuous use. After 28 days, the tent is classified as a permanent structure and is not being used for its intended purpose (i.e a tent for recreational camping).

Your consumer legal rights may still apply after the warranty expires.

Accessories (Bay Sports Brand)

Warranty Period

All Bay Sports Accessories carry a 1 Year Limited Warranty which starts immediately after delivery. With adequate maintenance, it will give you years of reliable use. But as with most products, it is subject to wear and tear. If you eventually need replacement parts, technical assistance or product/service information, please contact us via the Bay Sports Customer Support Portal.

Bay Sports warranty is valid only if the product is used for its intended purpose and for which it was designed. Bay Sports warrants all Bay Sports Branded Accessories sold by Bay Sports to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year, under the listed warranty period for that product, from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified on the product. Warranty starts immediately after delivery. 

If a product is found to be defective by Bay Sports, in its sole discretion, Bay Sports only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product.

  • Change in appearance of Accessories and their Component Parts due to wear, exposure to the weather or any other environmental condition.
  • Damage to Accessories and their Component Parts caused by exposure to abrasive surfaces.
  • Accessories and their Component Parts which have been modified or repaired by unauthorised persons.

3. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period only.

4. Repaired items will be subject to available parts. We will do our best to match colours and styles but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact product back

  • Globber - 2 Years (Helmets and Protective Gear cannot be returned if used)

  • Ocean & Earth - 3 Months

  • Sea To Summit - Lifetime Limited (Tents Excluded)
