Sit in kayaks are extremely versatile and are built for speed.
Sit-in kayaks have enclosed cockpits which provide protection from the harsh sun throughout summer and keep you warm and dry from the waist down during the colder months. Beyond protecting you from the elements, sit-in kayaks are sleek and narrow and effortlessly glide across the water allowing you to cover long distances.

Often overlooked by beginners - despite their performance enhancing design - sit-in kayaks are practical for all levels, whether you want to cruise a couple of kilometres down river or race through rapids. Depending on your objective you can add spray skirts for extra protection or a rudder system to increase tracking and help you paddle in a straight line.
